At Ciocca Subaru of Pleasantville, community is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we were proud to partner with Covenant House, an incredible organization that provides shelter, support, and hope to young people facing homelessness. Through the combined efforts of our team and the support of our loyal customers, we successfully raised $13,578 to donate directly to Covenant House. This contribution will help fund essential services like food, clothing, and safe housing for vulnerable youth in our area. We are truly honored to support the life-changing mission of Covenant House, and this is just the beginning. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Pleasantville, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Ciocca Subaru of Pleasantville is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other Subaru Loves to Help® efforts, Subaru and retailers like Ciocca Subaru of Pleasantville have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need. On 01/23/2025, Ciocca Subaru of Pleasantville donated 120 shoes/socks to Avanzar. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.

As part of the Subaru Loves to Help initiative, Ciocca Subaru of Pleasantville proudly partnered with Operation Warm to make a meaningful impact in the community. Last week, the dealership visited Avanzar to donate 120 pairs of brand-new shoes and socks to children in need throughout the Pleasantville area. This initiative aligns with Subaru’s commitment to supporting local communities and ensuring that every child has access to basic necessities. With winter in full swing, a warm pair of shoes and socks can make a world of difference for children facing hardships. Operation Warm, a nonprofit dedicated to providing brand-new shoes and coats to children in need, played a key role in making this initiative possible. Their mission to provide warmth, confidence, and hope to children across the country aligns perfectly with Subaru’s dedication to caring for its communities. Ciocca Subaru of Pleasantville is grateful for the opportunity to partner with Avanzar and Operation Warm to bring comfort to local families. For the third year in a row, the team from Ciocca Subaru of Pleasantville paid a special visit to Washington Avenue Elementary School as part of the Subaru Loves Learning initiative. This annual tradition has become a much-anticipated event for both the dealership staff and the students and teachers, as it embodies the spirit of community, education, and giving back. A group of Ciocca Subaru of Pleasantville employees, including Sales Manager Santino Botto, Service Manager Don Simms and Subaru Brand Specialist Tyler Hines arrived at the school, their Subaru Forester packed to the brim with boxes of school supplies. The donation included everything from notebooks, pencils, markers and art supplies. Each item was carefully selected to cater to the needs of every grade level and to support teachers in their mission to create an engaging learning environment. Principal Ruiz-Cooper and several teachers were on hand to welcome the Ciocca team with open arms. "We’re incredibly grateful for Ciocca Subaru’s continued support,” Principal Ruiz-Cooper said. “Their generosity makes a tangible difference in our classrooms, helping students have the tools they need to succeed.” After the supplies were unloaded, the Ciocca team joined an adopted classroom to take a few photos in the school’s main hallway. As the team drove away, the warm smiles and excited waves of the students were a testament to the impact of Subaru’s commitment to loving learning. This heartfelt partnership between Ciocca Subaru of Pleasantville and Washington Avenue Elementary is one of the many ways the dealership continues to show that it’s more than just a car company, it’s a community ally, invested in driving learning forward.

In celebration of the Subaru Loves Pets initiative, Ciocca Subaru of Pleasantville partnered with The Humane Society of Atlantic County to host a heartwarming pet adoption event. The dealership's showroom was filled with excitement as three adorable puppies, Dug, Slinky, and Beethoven, made their debut, each looking for their "furever" home. Customers and community members had the chance to meet the playful trio, learn more about adoption and support the shelter's mission to find loving homes for animals in need. The event highlighted Ciocca Subaru of Pleasantville's dedication to animal welfare and the Subaru Loves Pets initiative, which aims to connect adoptable pets with caring families. The day ended with smiles, wagging tails and the promise of a brighter future for Dug, Slinky, and Beethoven, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the dealership and the Humane Society.

On September 19, Ciocca Subaru of Pleasantville partnered with the American Red Cross to host their inaugural blood drive. The event brought together customers, employees, and members of the Pleasantville community, all eager to make a lifesaving impact. Throughout the day, donors rolled up their sleeves to contribute, resulting in a remarkable 18 units of blood collected by the event's end. Each unit has the potential to save up to three lives, meaning this community-driven effort could help more than 50 people in need. The success of this first blood drive underscores the power of community collaboration and Ciocca Subaru’s commitment to giving back. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, you’ve made a real difference, we look forward to seeing you next year!

On July 16, the staff of Ciocca Subaru of Pleasantville gathered at Covenant House in Atlantic City, prepared to share a meal and some heartfelt time with the kids staying there. With warm smiles, the Ciocca team aimed to bring not only nourishment but also a sense of community and care to the young residents of Covenant House. As the meal was served, the room filled with the comforting aroma of homemade dishes and laughter as staff members chatted with the kids. Some of the Ciocca Subaru team members were in the serving line, while others joined the kids at the tables, creating a friendly and welcoming environment. It was more than just a meal, it was an opportunity to build connections and show support to youth facing difficult times. As the meal wrapped up, there were promises to return and a sense of gratitude hung in the air. For Ciocca Subaru of Pleasantville, this evening wasn’t just about providing food, it was about showing up, fostering hope and reminding these kids that their community stands with them, ready to support and uplift them as they forge ahead.

For the past several years, Ciocca Subaru of Pleasantville has been partnering with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and AtlantiCare Cancer Care Institute in Egg Harbor Township New Jersey through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. This partnership involves delivering blankets, patient care kits, and messaging of hope to those fighting cancer. On Tuesday June 25th, Ciocca Subaru of Pleasantville personally delivered these items to local cancer patients in treatment at AtlantiCare. This amazing program has truly allowed these two organizations to not only positively impact the communities where they live and work, but sends hope, love and warmth to patients facing cancer. The AtlantiCare team expressed their sincere appreciation for Ciocca Subaru of Pleasantville who keep their patients in their thoughts when deciding where to bring their generous donations.

Ciocca Subaru of Pleasantville and Subaru of America partnered with Covenant House New Jersey, for the 2023 Subaru Share the Love® Event and presented them with a donation of $27,132. As part of the automaker’s sixteenth annual Subaru Share the Love Event, $250 was donated to the charity of the customers’ choice for every new Subaru vehicle purchased or leased during the holidays. Ciocca Subaru of Pleasantville selected Covenant House a “Hometown Charity,” giving customers the opportunity to dedicate their donation to supporting work in their local community.
